In Indian summer conditions, this translates to a noticeable reduction in AC load and a more comfortable interior, especially for hatchbacks with large side glass areas. The core technology behind CR70 is a multi‑layer nano‑optical construction. Each microscopic layer reflects and refracts infrared wavelengths while allowing most visible light to pass, achieving a high Total Solar Energy Rejection (TSER) without excessive darkening. The film also incorporates UV‑blocking pigments that prevent up to 99 % of UV rays from reaching the interior.
