Car Skin e-warranty · 4 years — how it works
Car Skin backs this film with an e-warranty. It is not active automatically: after your film is installed, you register the roll and installation details so Car Skin can activate it in your name.
What is covered
- Replacement of the film if it develops a manufacturing defect: cracking, yellowing, bubbling, peeling, adhesive failure or delamination.
- Warranty period as shown on the product page, counted from the installation date on the installer’s tax invoice.
What is not covered
- Installer’s labour for fitting the replacement film. This is paid by you.
- Film fitted over repainted, aftermarket-painted or vinyl-wrapped surfaces, or on headlights, chrome or carbon-fibre trim.
- Damage from improper care, abrasive cleaners or misuse, and installation that does not follow Car Skin’s guidelines.
How to activate
- Get the film fitted by a professional installer of your choice (they do not need to be Car Skin-authorised) and ask for a tax invoice that shows the installation date.
- Keep the roll label (Roll Code ID) from the box and photograph it before the installer starts.
- Register your e-warranty using the details on the e-warranty page. Warranty is activated once Car Skin’s team confirms it.
Car Skin Falcon Series is a 180-micron gloss TPU paint protection film in a 1.52 m × 15 m (about 250 sq ft) roll. Car Skin positions it as "Visible perfection". The brochure states a German Henkel adhesive, 180-micron thickness and a 4 years warranty. Per Car Skin it is self healing, anti-yellowing, hydrophobic and penetration resistant, and protects painted surfaces from gravel, sand, stones, road salt, insects, bird droppings and acid rain. All performance statements are the manufacturer's and have not been independently tested by PMD.
